Getting There
The closest airport is Nice Cote d'Azur (NCE), which is the largest airport in the region with the most international flights and closest to the eastern region (Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes). The airport is a 25 minutes ride away from Villa Ephrussi.

Marseille-Provence (MRS) is on the western region of the riviera. It is also an option for those who have plans to travel to Saint Tropez, Cassis and Provence before the wedding. The airport is a 2.5 hour drive away from Villa Ephrussi.

A gentle stroll through Nice’s old town, or Vieux Nice, is a sensory delight that immerses you in the vibrant heart of the historic part of the city. As you wander, the air is filled with the scent of freshly baked bread, herbs and the lively chatter of locals and visitors. Known for its baroque architecture and landmarks like the Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate, Place Masséna and the Promenade des Anglais.
The Exotic Garden of Eze is an award-winning institution located on the site of a medieval fortress, perched 429 metres above the Mediterranean Sea, and 20 minutes away from Nice. The garden offers one of the most spectacular views of the French Riviera extending to the Esterel Mountains and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It features numerous species of succulent plants and xerophytes from all continents.
Cap Ferrat is a luxury destination which has welcomed the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Matisse, Chagall, Picasso, Cocteau and European royal families. This former fishing village is known for its villas with private access to the sea and its lush gardens. But there are a few hidden spots beyond this, to discover them, just follow the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat loop. It’s an hour-long hike which will take you around the peninsula.

Pablo Picasso used this medieval fortress as his art studio for several months in 1946, during which he created an impressive collection of 23 paintings and 44 drawings. Today, the museum stands as a testament to Picasso's profound influence on modern art and showcases over 200 of his works, including many iconic pieces such as La Joie de vivre (Joy of Life).
Bay of Antibes Billionaires
Another hidden treasure in the French Riviera is the Bay of Antibes Billionaires (or “ la baie des milliardaires” in French). Not too far from the main old town of Antibes lies this bay which is also easily accessible by private boat. It’s a small but gorgeous place with crystal-clear blue waters, so make sure to arrive early for a full day under the sun.

Built in 1864, the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo Wine Cellars span over 1,500 square metres. Guests can explore the hotel’s extraordinary wine collection, journeying through vast corridors lined with shelves of grand crus. Housing more than 450,000 bottles across around 6,000 varieties, it is the world’s largest underground wine cellar.

A relative newcomer to Plage de Pampelonne, the beach-side cousin to the LouLou in Paris is a design and decor dream.’ dream. Artist and designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s touch is seen and felt throughout the place. The bright yellows blend with the blue of the sea to create a visually intoxicating result.

La Tarte Tropézienne
Opened in 1955, this has been an institution in Saint Tropez and is also the shop that created the famous Tarte Tropezienne - a delicious brioche generously filled with a tasty blend of two smooth creams, sprinkled with granulated sugar. Actress Brigitte Bardot developed a taste for the pastries while she was in Saint-Tropez filming And God Created Woman.

Rue François Sibilli
